They were both built solidly. But this new SK4 model of Hammer (I bought a 34/28) feels flimsier. If you hold the bat by the handle loosely and let it hang vertically, and knock on the "sweet spot" of the bat, it vibrates for a long time. This review is from: Easton SK4 Hammer slowpitch Softball Bat (Sports) For $20 this bat does anything you can ask of a $20 bat, and more. I bought this bat expecting to use it for line drives and playing small ball, but I decided to give a few big swings and actually hit this further than the $200 bats I was using earlier in the game. I don't know how it will hold up tho as I've only had it for a week. No complaints thus far. |
