Synthetic covered balls - will not last!,

The description used the word quality. I don't think so. Balls with synthetic covers will not last long when they encounter a bat. The description said the manufacturer may vary and the photo depicts some brand names. There is no variation and no brand names.
Edited 7/3/2011. After quite a bit of use, especially for batting practice, I must admit they are holding up surprisingly well. No tears, no torn or broken bindings. They are still going strong.

The balls have a nice feel to them. They have a synthetic cover that feels more like leather than plastic. They were great for what I was looking for which was a couple dozen good but inexpensive balls for practice. The best part for me was that the estimated ship date was 3 to 5 weeks after purchase but the balls shipped within a couple of days and they arrived about a week and a half after purchase. The balls shipped in one box and the bucket shipped in a separate box but both arrived the same day.
Not the best but get the job done,

Certainly not the best balls out there, but definitely good enough for practice and enough there to keep us supplied in balls for the next few years.
