I've been searching for a whistle this size since Sportmart moved to a different brand. These are just a little shorter and thinner than a standard whistle and as a result, require less breath to blow. That adds up after a long day refereeing. Super fast shipping, too.

I use these for dog whistles, and they are my favorite whistle for that purpose. The plastic whistles are far superior to metal whistles I have tried, which tend to be leaky and produce a weak sound. The plastic material produces a LOUD clear tone that carries and gets the dog's attention. I always carry a whistle in my pocket (without a lanyard) and tend to lose them. These whistles are packed by the dozen, so I always have spares. And they are so cheap they are almost free!

...and that's a good thing. Really loud when you lay on it. Inexpensive too. Works well.
