This review is from: Worth Blue Revolver REVTST softball bat 34/26 NEW 1361 (Misc.)
I haven't finished a full season (16" Chicago-style softball) with it yet, but the early consensus from me & my team is a solid thumbs-up. The bat is very thin between the handle & the hitting zone, moving more of the weight to the end of the bat. This results in a noticeable "snap" effect as you bring this bat through the zone. I'm an average sized guy (6'0"/195lbs), and this bat feels like it's given me a couple of doubles I would not have gotten with my previous bats.
It takes a little getting used to, though. That thin mid-stock is very unforgiving; you need the skills to get the bat into the correct position to make solid contact. But if you were regularly hitting the ball from that position with any other bat, you are getting jammed and the ball isn't going anywhere useful anyway.
In short, if your hitting style is about control and bat speed, but you want more "pop," this bat feels like a winner to me.
